PLUEY WINS 4TH EVENT OF THE SEASON

Pluey
wins his 4th event of the 2014-2015 WSA season,waves were super small 1-2ft and almost incontestable, Lets just say i wouldnt call it much of a comp ,Weather was beautiful and lots of great fun hanging with the boys.
i got lucky and managed to do a few turns and get 2 score able waves.
its my 4th win of the season with 5 more events to go ,But im well on my way to my 5th consecutive West Coast title and hopefully my 4th USA  national title stay tuned .

PLUEY WINS 4TH WEST COAST TITLE

Hope Everyone  a great weekend? Lets just say im drained and tired, Its been a long yr  but I pulled it off, I won my 4th Consecutive WEST COAST MASTERS TITLE ,From what I was told im the only person in 25 yrs to have done this so lets just say its crazy.

It was a ruff weekend the weather was beautiful but waves were small and had to deal with a lot of wind. I went into the final event of the WSA http://www.surfwsa.org/  season with a 3,000 point lead but new I still needed to make the final to really  feel like I won. And that's just what I did.

I took each rd like it was life or death ,that's just how I like to do things ,I was feeling pretty confident but you just never know ,Waves were a big disappointment but with surfing that's just how it goes you cant really predict how it will be.

So I will have more photos from the event I have attached some , Hopefully they will down load and look okay.

 

Now in June I go for my 3rd USA National title, Which for me means a lot . Its a hard title to win but im always ready and up for the Challenge.

Next Weekend is the Championships for the Soul Surf Series and I'm the Ratings leader in the Open And Masters  and if all goes well I will win 2 more Title this month so crazy .

Pluey takes another 1st at Salt Creek 3/29/2014

Pluey has done it again .

Takes his 4th 1st of the season at Salt Creek in 2-3 ft surf.

This should seal the Deal for Pluey as the 2013-2014 West coast  Masters champ for the 4th yr in a row.

It was a day that started out less then stellar waves were small and no real shape a bit frustrating . the 1st rd I get an interference and almost lost but I pulled a rabbit out of that hat to make it through on my way to the final.

The final was tough waves went from bad to worse and blown out, I started out with a few score less waves. But  finally got a decent one half way through the final. I still need a good wave as a back up if I had any chance of taking the win. And with 4 seconds left a set wave came and got the score.
I was super stoked and now I have a huge lead  .

2 events left so keep your fingers crossed ..

Pluey takes his 3rd Soul Surf Series win

Pluey has done it once again, Taking his 3rd straight win at this past weekends SOUL SURF SERIES stop #3

Conditions weren't bad 3-5 ft clean with some decent lines. Sun was shining and warm, started out the day a little un confident but by the end of the day it was on.
Got 2 solid waves in the final with top to bottom surfing and a reverse to seal the deal.

The wins puts me that much closer to sealing the title for the 2013- 2014 season.
