A New YR

Well it's finally a new yr super stoked.I've decided to take it 1 day at a time,not get so fruestrated in the water and enjoy what i do.Ive had 2 great days of surf small but fun.I 've felt good and feel like i'm surfing the way i should.I have some surf events coming up and i'm starting to feel like i'm ready.I want to win win win.Life right now feels good.
I had a great christmas with Steph and Isabella and some of the family good times.Well hopefully i'm able to keep my blog up ,just sometimes i get busy and put it off but i will do my best to keep up.

the drive to see Isabella

left oceanside yesterday at about 1pm since we had to wait for Stephs brother Stevie to get off work .We finally got on the road but had a few stops.1st we had to go by Koastal to pick up a skate board for me for christmas yippie.2nd we met up with a friend Brian  to drop off a christmas gift and now were really leaving as we get passed HB we all of a sudden hit  what was to be the first of a 5 hr traffic marathon non stop bumper to bumper on are way to see are daughter Isabella for christmas.About 7pm we get over the grapevine but still had another 4 hr drive.We get to Modesto to drop off Steve about 11pm and still had another hr to go.12:30 we finally arrive and its fucking cold but we made it safe and sound.
Now were going to spend Christmas with Isabella yippe.

94.9 Hootenanny Concert VIP Passes

What’s up everyone!! Hope all is well. Last week (Saturday) it was still stormy, I hadn’t surfed, Steph and me were bored out of are minds and we were trying to figure out what to do for the night. All of a sudden my phone rings and it’s Greg from Synergy Surf Co, he told me he had 4 VIP tickets to the 94.9 Holiday Hootenanny at UCSD and wasn’t able to make it, he asked me if I wanted them… I said “Hell yea!!” We rushed home to get ready, took a while cause of Steph J. Then we headed down. It was raining so hard and we got a little confused once we entered the campus, no signs right away to tell u how to get to the arena, but we finally got there safe at about 6pm. Parking wasn’t to bad. We headed to the front of the line and just walked right in to the VIP area where we entered a private elevator to the to the top floor. Doors opened and it was insane. There were 4 rooms .1 had a buffet set up with great food and drinks. 2nd room was a lounge with white comfy benches, flat screen TVs to watch the concert on, a Wii to play, more free alcohol, and desserts. The other 2 rooms were a balcony to watch the concert and another sitting area. We hung out up stairs for a while to enjoy all the free food and drinks, and then went down for the concert. We were escorted down to the VIP seating area right next to the stage where the bands hang out before they go on. We saw Phoenix who is so insane, probably the best band of the night! Spoon was also insane. Vampire Weekend, they were pretty lame. Manchester Orchestra was insane and White Rabbit, which we didn’t get to hear cause, we got there a little late. The whole night we just partied and had a great time. Stephanie friend from work and her boyfriend showed up to catch the last band Spoon play, they would have been there sooner but the got super lost trying to find the place J.
